01 / Anatomy of a bounded task

What crosses
the boundary?

A conceptual model of context, recipient, approval, interruption, and evidence. The capability record below states what is actually available.

FIG. 01 / THE CONTEXT BOUNDARYIllustrative
Original conceptual drafting station. Not a product recording or live agent session.

01 / Page → selected context

One page. A smaller view.

The raised page is your browser. The pull-out tray represents a bounded observation from the selected tab and document—not your whole browsing session.

Local checks: observations exclude input values. Visible text can still be sensitive. Inspect what would be shared before releasing it.

02 / Selected context → named task

Name who receives it.

The tray belongs to a specific task and recipient. Opening a tab is not permission to send its contents to an agent.

Current local work: Codex observation and a narrow Claude read have been exercised. They are separate integrations, not interchangeable connections.

03 / Proposed action → human decision

A request is not an action.

The control strip is a human decision gate. Review the target and proposed action before approving. A pending request must stay visibly pending.

Unverified: the live Codex human-approved action loop. This illustration does not demonstrate a successful agent action.

04 / Stop → further actions revoked

Keep a way back to you.

Stop or Take control ends the task’s permission for further actions. It does not prove that an action already in flight was undone.

Local checks cover permission revocation and cleanup with synthetic tasks. An uncertain effect needs inspection, not a success label.

05 / Observed result → evidence

Check what actually happened.

The paper in the tray stands for a receipt: what was requested, what was observed, and what remains uncertain. Completion requires evidence from the target.

A completed process is not proof of a completed action. No live session, page data or provider connection is present in this diagram.

Select a part to read its role. These controls only change the illustration.

02 / Direction, with a boundary

Built toward
daily AI work.
Starting here.

The illustration explains the idea. The public beta is a smaller, specific release.

Available in beta 1
A Mac browser and collapsible Page workspace. Experimental public browsing is an explicit opt-in.
Verified locally · newer candidate
Codex observation was exercised; its human-approved action loop remains unverified. Claude has only a browser-side check that one page observation was read and the connection was cleaned up. These results do not qualify general agent actions or describe features in this download.
Roadmap · unavailable today
Agent access to real websites is disabled. There is no supported way to attach Dots. Here “Dots” refers to ChatGPT dots; no integration or partnership is implied. Daily-browser reliability and general login/SSO remain unqualified.

The newer 0.1.2-beta.9 candidate is not notarized or published. It is not offered for download here.
